Are You SAVED? Introduction

The most important question that you will ever be asked in this lifetime is, “Are you saved?” One day, you will stand before the Lord, and must give account of yourself. In that day, your good works will not matter. Your church and your family will be unimportant.

All that will matter when you face the judgment is whether or not you have been saved from your sin. Have you been born again by the Spirit of God? Have you passed from death unto life, trusting in Christ alone and His death, burial and resurrection.

In this course, we are going to use the word “SAVED” as an acrostic, to bring to light from Scripture five concepts that relate to your salvation:

  • S is for Sin
    • What is sin?
    • Who are sinners?
    • What are the consequences of sin?
  • A is for All
    • Who is eligible for salvation?
    • For whom did Christ die?
    • To whom is salvation offered?
  • V is for Victory
    • Who is Christ?
    • What did Christ do at Calvary?
    • What does the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ mean for my sin?
  • E is for Everlasting
    • How long does salvation last?
    • Who keeps my salvation?
    • Can I be confident in my salvation?
  • D is for Deliverance
    • How can I be saved?
    • How does salvation bring deliverance from my sin?
    • Will I still sin after being saved?

It is my hope and prayer that by the time we finish these brief lessons, you will have a clear understanding of salvation, and will have the matter of eternity settled in your life, once and for all.
